A cute Chanel Fall RTW 2002-2003 cardigan. Imagine my joy when I managed to find a catwalk pair for it: a silk top with chains instead of straps.
Sharing the details:
The hook and loop cardigan features a beautiful alternating horizontal pattern of aubergine cashmere, black wool and fine black crochet yarn. The crochet has a few different variations in terms of the pattern and this has helped shape the design that runs throughout the cardigan. The colors are used to further emphasize the pattern. Much of the weave is openwork so you get a glimpse of the bare skin underneath, as well as the rebellious and provocative chain strap from the top. The top is also a completely stand-alone unit. Be warned though: it is completely see-through! The top has two metal straps and also has a single row of chain running across the back.
I love the CC logos on the left side of both pieces of this ensemble. It’s always nice to see these little details with Chanel. Measurements:
