Pre-owned Givenchy Handbags — Antigona, Pandora | JoliCloset

A Givenchy handbag is built around two signatures: the trapezoidal silhouette with folded side wings of the Antigona, and the asymmetric dual-zip envelope of the Pandora. Both, designed by Riccardo Tisci between 2008 and 2010, remain the segment's flagship sellers. JoliCloset currently lists more than 730 authenticated pre-owned Givenchy handbags, starting around $220 for Mini sizes.

Models available

The Antigona dominates the selection with more than one hundred units in Pebbled grained calf and the softer Antigona Soft introduced by Matthew M. Williams. The Pandora, launched in 2008 and lifted again by the Y2K revival, comes in Mini, Small and Medium. The Nightingale soft doctor bag and the Voyou with 4G top handle complete the range. Sizes and materials

The Antigona Mini (~23 cm) fits today's compact-bag mood, the Small (~33 cm) is the most requested size, and the Medium (~38 cm) holds a 13" laptop. On materials, Pebbled Leather in grained calf stays the safest pick — it ages well and develops little patina. Smooth lambskin, suede and exotic editions ship in limited runs and tend to hold value better over time.

Buying pre-owned vs retail

An Antigona Small now retails above $1,950. On the second-hand market it trades between $700 and $1,300 in good condition — up to 50% off retail. A Pandora Medium in grained leather sells around $800 against close to $1,700 retail. Authenticated Givenchy bags hold value well; Tisci-era limited editions have become collector objects since his moves to Burberry and then Audemars Piguet.
