What does every fashionable woman do? Grocery shop, of course. Karl Lagerfeld turned the mundane, everyday errand into an epic fashion show at the Grand Palais, where he staged an entire supermarket called "Chanel Shopping Center". Showgoers explored the aisles full of real Chanel-branded groceries, produce, hardware, even fine meats and cheeses. The genius part was each item was a thoughtful homage to the storied brand: Coco Flakes, Délices de Gabrielle, spirits named after each Metiers d'Arts collection, cleaning supplies covered in their famous chains, the list goes on. The models didn't walk the runway, instead they shopped the runway in what can only be described as an amped-up uniform of uber-chic, cool, multi-tasking moms…This bag was a part of that fashion show!
