Vintage Hermes LA CLE DES CHAMPS ("The key to the countryside" - it is actually an old French expression or metaphor for "freedom", "liberty", or "to escape"), by Francoise Faconnet - first issued in 1965. 100% Jacquard Silk. Beautiful colorway of red, black and gold with flying little birds design. The scarf is printed on a lush jacquard silk fabric with a swirl pattern. Hermes discontinued production using this woven silk fabric in the 1990S, because the production of this scarf was too expensive. 'HERMES - Paris' is located right lower quadrant. Condition B - VERY GOOD Some pulled threads due to normal use. A faded stain/discoloration near the lower border.
