The soul is measured by the capacity to go against the current and it is against the current that the Mediterranean is creeping into France., up the Rhône by successive waves from the Camargue to Switzerland, and soaking up the waters of Lake Geneva, then harvesting the ardor of the alpine torrents, before joining its original principle at the foot of the Furka pass. The Mediterranean is liquid soul, it's a flood of spirit, it's a fresh crop flow inland.
