As seen from the Resort 2016 Collection, the Amsonia Dress by Mary Katrantzou was inspired by the 1960's op-art artists' stripe technique, coupled with the hyper-real color schemes from the French seed packets from the 1890S. The bright white maxi dress was paired with sections of sun-ray pleats in rainbow stripes, making for a modern yet romantic effect. The pleats allow for lots of movement, a perfect dress for a wedding or a day out.
