Elegant DUNHILL table lighter called "the Unique" - silver plated - made in England

Model vertical godron - height 10 cm - width at the foot 4.8 x 3.2 cm - width at the head 3.2 x 1.6 cm - weight 214g.
Very good condition, little used, revised at Dunhill at the end of 2014 (joint invoice), then stop smoking in February 2015!

The first "Unique" was created - in one night - in the aftermath of World War I by Alfred Dunhill in his cellar with a box of COLMAN mustard (empty!) To offer a solution to a smoking friend of Pipe that had lost an arm during the fighting. At the time, it was the first lighter to be used with one hand.
