Vintage Burberrys crossbody round bag Black

Extremely rare leather crossbody vintage bag from Burberry, pre 1980's and Burberry is still spelled Burberrys (they changed that around 2000), the bag is round, The leather is lightly grained, the strap can be shortened to be worn as a shoulder bag but it is meant as a cross body bag. It is round (quite unusual) with a zipper on the top and the zipper tab is branded with the Burberry knight. The Burberry knight is also heat stamped on the outside over the Burberrys logo. The leather is lightly grained apart from the bit where the heat stamp is, where it is smooth, this bit is above the outside pocket. The lining on the inside pocket and the outside pocket is the classic novacheck.
Due to the age of the bag, there was some whiskering and fraying on the corners, I gave it to our cobbler and he retored and repainted, the strap is printed or rather heat stamped with a delicate flower pattern, on the inside of the strap there is some wear due to rubbing against the shoulders and body, but that has also been restored and it is not visible as it is on the underside of the strap, the buckle on the strap is also branded Burberrys.
Height 20 cm, Width 20 cm (it is round) Depth 6 cm, handle drop 54 cm to 66 cm.
Having it restored cost me a small fortune, but the bag is such a rare item that I thought it would be a shame and it looks great now
