This scarf was created on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Texas independence. As a true Texan, Oliver Kermit lovingly designed a fabulous scarf representing the biodiversity of his state.

The fauna and flora are very diverse: about a hundred species (some endemic) of mammals originate from Texas, as well as about a hundred species of snakes, the most dangerous being the Rattlesnake and the Water Moccasin. Approximately 550 species of birds have been spotted in Texas, which is nearly 3/4 of the species that can be observed in the United States.

Here, Polyglot Mockingbird, Armadillo, Brazilian Mastiff, Monarch, Horned Toad (lizard), Buccinum (shell)... And of course, at the center, the emblematic wild turkey surrounded by a crown of cacti, fruits, and flowers, is set on a typical rocky outcrop.

It is a male as it has a tuft of feathers on its chest, called a beard, which you can clearly see in the photo.
Against a scenic background, the composition is impressive... But very fresh.
The colors are indescribable, so numerous and rich, while the "lone star" of the Texas flag appears here at the 4 corners, above which are the puma, longhorn cow, coyote, and mustang, whose names are inextricably linked to the history of the country.
