Mini Kelly bag 20 in Brown Box from the years 1950 En excellent état
This bag belonged to my grandfather's first wife, who died in the years 1950, that's why I date it to the years 40/50. My own grandmother never used it, precisely because it belonged to the "first wife"!
When my grandmother died (1997), my mother put it in a cupboard, and I ran into it last summer (2016). It was in immaculate condition. I still took him to Hermès to do a "grooming".
The Hermès workshops considered that the reel and the straps of this "little gem" should be replaced because they have weakened over time.. 3 month after, it turned out that the fixation of the plates having changed over the years 40, it was also necessary to replace the straps. This repair was not anticipated, it was offered to me.
Cleaning and repairs cost 485€ (invoice will be attached)
it is impeccable. The leather is very little marked, whether inside or outside. Strictly, there is a scratch on the back, which is seen by exposure to light.
The golden parts having all been replaced (except the strap attachments), they are sparkling. I left the plastic protections placed by Hermès on the replaced parts.
The originality of this mini bag, apart from its size, is the absence of a handle. According to Hermès, it is an old manufacture (rather years 50), and he had probably been asked for a handle for a more practical side.

since 2 ans, I live on a catamaran in the Caribbean. I only return to the metropolis 5 weeks. This year 2021,I will be in France from 13 July to 20 August 2021.
