This piece is a military coat from Balmain's highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2012 (SS12) collection. Notably, this collection marked a major turning point for the fashion house as the debut menswear collection under the creative direction of Olivier Rousteing, who took the helm after Christophe Decarnin's departure in early 2011. In this piece, Rousteing masterfully honors Balmain's signature military-rockstar DNA while refining it into a cleaner, sharper, and more luxurious silhouette.
