- lined SAFETY CLASP: PRINCIPAL = silver 835/1000 polished with 4x semi-precious stones (which I have forgotten the name) which decorate this clasp + a fine chain (= 2nd clasp) which must reinforce the security (against a loss ) of this beautiful necklace. - LENGTH: the RANK OF UP (contains 41 Beads) measures normally minimum 40 cm (is not yet well relaxed after the change of the silk thread = will be extended by about 1 cm or more after several uses and will measure minimum 40 cm) and the ROW DU BAS (contains 43 Beads) is almost 3 cm longer = about 42 cm (it is essential that it is a little longer than the top row because of the morphology of the neck which is always thinner up). This necklace is positioned at the bottom of the neck (early limit of the shoulders). - TOTAL number of pearls (included 2x rows) = 84. CHARACTERISTICS OF PEARLS: - Freshwater cultured pearls of very good quality, - Diameter between 7.9 And 8.1 mm = the size of all pearls is the same (with the naked eye). - Round shape. - White color (delicately reflect the colors of the environment and lights), - Almost perfect surface, - Nacre thick, - Excellent homogeneity. / COMMENT: - Pearls threaded only by professionals on a thick silk thread (standard thickness suitable for threading beads) with knots between each bead to avoid possible friction. One of the two ranks (the shortest = high) was redone in 2017 at "Crédit Municipal" in Paris where I left (for a few months) against a "credit on pledge" (it was they who broke the silk thread, Then, they were forced to do it again by their jeweler who expertise the authenticity of the objects). The row of the bottom was not redone (it was useless). They left a small trace on the inner side of clasp (controlling the authenticity of the metals with a product), but, it is inside = not visible from the outside and not annoying. Even inside it is barely visible (to see it, you have to look closely or with a ZOOM), but: - I tell you by "principle", because, you must KNOW everything not to be disappointed (because of a tiny detail) after the purchase made and received at home. Pearls, itself are in EXCELLENT condition (close to new). This necklace was custom made for my mother who rarely had the opportunity to wear them (like me, who wore them twice since the year 2011). This necklace accentuates the FEMININE (makes more sexy a simple "little black dress" :) This item will be provided in a jewel box (for necklaces) that is not original.
