Burberry Brit Hooded duffle coat with nova check lining Black

Heavy hooded wool duffle coat in black, lined in the classic Nova Check pattern, the outside of the coat is a layer of black wool over the nova check pattern, so if the black wool wears a little bit off, the nova check pattern peeks through, which it does on the pockets and sleeves, this is totally deliberate and intended by the manufacturer, when I bought the coat over 20 years ago, I was told that they call this "branded ageing" as the more you wear it, the more it becomes obvious it is a Burberry and apparently it is a feature they put a lot of thought in and it is expensive to manufacture the weave like that. The toggles, studs and buttons are all branded Burberry Brit, under the toggles there is a 2 way zipper, the tab of the upper part has come off, it is still fully functionable but a bit fiddly and you would need a cobbler to put a zip tab on for ease of wear, but due to the toggles and the additional poppers you don't need the zipper. there are 2 vents in the back that can be opened and closed with branded poppers. 2 large flapped patch pockets outside. The coat is really heavy and weights a ton.
Size is a UK 16 but the coat comes really generously.
