A stunning, heavy vest created by John Galliano for Christian Dior in 1999. An incredible rarity, because things (especially in this condition) it is almost impossible to find. It was presented as on the catwalk (in an interesting variation under silk tops), and was also documented by the great photographer of that era Patrick Demarchelier for the October issue of Paris VOGUE.
A true find for a collector.
Measurements in an unstretched condition:
vest length: 55cm / 21.65 inches
Waist size: 62cm / 24.41 inches
Bust size: 68 cm / 26.77 inches (not stretched)
Condition: Excellent. There are a couple of inconspicuous spots on the neck and 1 In front, and the sock is completely invisible due to knitting.
