Dolce & Gabbana Baroque Angel Putti Studded Leather Belt

A splendid and rare collector's piece from the Dolce & Gabbana maison, a perfect example of Italian maximalism and the archival "Baroque" style typical of the Dolce & Gabbana Farfetch brand. The large front buckle, richly crafted in relief, depicts two mirrored putti/angels holding an ornamental frame, topped by a shell and closed at the base by the metallic "DG" monogram. The strap is decorated along the edges with domed brass studs that echo the craftsmanship of the buckle.

CONDITION: GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION
The item is solid, structurally intact, and perfectly usable, with the typical charm of archival vintage accessories.
• Buckle: Excellent aesthetic condition, the relief details are sharp and the antique gold finish retains its original luster with very slight signs of natural metal oxidation.
• Leather (Strap): The leather is robust but shows normal signs of wear due to use. Some creases are evident on the inner and outer surfaces, along with superficial scratches distributed along the band.
• Modifications: As clearly visible from the close-up photographs, extra holes have been handcrafted on the strap (in addition to the original factory ones) to allow the belt to be tightened further for high-waisted wear or to adapt to smaller sizes.
