Launched in 2008 by Silvia Venturini Fendi, the Peekaboo takes its name from the peekaboo game: the flap reveals or hides two interior compartments split by a rigid divider. The Peekaboo Mini (23 cm) is carried by hand or crossbody. The Regular (33 cm) holds folded A4. The Iconic with its twisted bar clasp has become the house signature. The ISeeU, softer, simplifies the silhouette. Interlace woven-leather and “Wonders” mixed-leather variants are rarer and more sought after.

Materials and editions

The Peekaboo comes mainly in smooth leather, grained leather and hand-stitched Selleria leather. The “Hand in Hand” editions feature regional artisanal woven leather. Exotic leathers (croc, ostrich) sit among the most expensive pieces of the Fendi catalogue.
