Fabulous vintage Givenchy pencil skirt with a covered kick plead in the back, I inherited this skirt from my aunt who worked as a fashion buyer in the 80's, so I can't say if the kick plead was put in or the skirt came like that, but it is so well done and the same material, so I assume it is the original.
Givenchy En Plus was Givenchy's hugely successful but sadly short lived line where they created fashion for women who aren't model thin (or real women), there is no material label, but from the feel of the material, I would say a viscose/wool blend with metallic fibers. I tried to show the material, it is black but has metallic threads woven through, that catch the light, it's not blingy, more like a subtle shine.
Absolutely gorgeous skirt, wish it would fit me, Lined in black satin. Very minimal signs of wear, none visible when worn. Closes in the back with a button and a zip.
