Materials, fit and sizing
Virgin wool, mohair, bouclé tweed, lambskin and calfskin, silk for linings, GG Supreme canvas and embroidered velvet on capsule editions. Gucci's cut tends to run fitted — an IT 38 maps to a UK 6 on most blazers, but to a UK 8-10 on the Michele-era oversize pieces. Always check the lining (even stitching, "Gucci Made in Italy" label + composition + serial number), the buttons (engraved, never gold-painted plastic) and the tweed weave density.
Resale value
