"Emile Hermes had the soul of a collector. From the age of twelve, placing the utility and history of objects at the same level as their aesthetic appeal, he started creating a collection where the horse binds all. These stirrups belong to the rider and the objects of the travelers whom he carefully collected together. Dating from 18th, the 19th and 20century they travel by time and join a cheerful and original choreography, where springs ring metals, squeak the leather and give a dull dull sound to the wood.
From France, of Africa, of Argentina, from China or Peru, all are bearers of a story they share with us.
I do not present this contest of stirrups, because the photos speak for themselves and are true to reality. Any variation is due to the difference in light.
