Two legendary designs of the house join in a happy encounter and share the space of the square fairly.
On the one hand, The Instruction of Roy on which Henri D'Origny tells us through an interlacing of bits and reins, curves and foliage, the teaching of Antoine de Pluvinel, squire of king Louis XIII. Concerned about the well-being of the horse, he advocated in his work The instruction of the king in the exercise of riding a horse, gentleness and understanding.
In Helmets and plumes, the other drawing of this composition, Julie Abadie puts the French cavalry in the spotlight and reproduces ornate helmets from the 19th century, decorated with plumes.
A pure wonder!
