Passionate about flora and fauna, Katie Scott keeps drawing nature. his Hand, easily recognizable, work in the purest tradition of 19th century naturalist plates. Eight species of bromeliads are represented here, from 3300 identified to date. This family of plants from tropical and subtropical regions of America grows in two distinct ways. If some of them are said to be epiphytes – on the surface of a plant –, and grow against a branch or trunk, others, like pineapple, grow in the ground.
