Warm-colored cotton fabrics named Madras - the Indian city that saw them born - Scottish in all shades, multicolored tiles ... the pattern, playing with lines and right angles, contains a thousand variations. At eight, ten, twenty, the features sharpen, thicken, rub shoulders and intersect in an infinity of combinations whose colored chords demultiply the themes. Some of them, elected by this square of silk, interlock and combine in circles, straight lines, curves, and this composition is born an expensive form at home: the famous Ex-Libris ... checkered.
A marvel perfectly mixed and versatile, I present different sides, because the dominant colors change depending on the folding.
