This vintage Kansai Yamamoto pullover is knitted in a fuzzy mohair-feel 100%
wool with a black base and bold horizontal rainbow stripes - purple, lavender,
blue, red, coral, green, yellow and orange - accented with vertical red and
coral braided yarn cords running across the front and back to create a graphic
plaid effect. A signature, exuberant Kansai Yamamoto piece, by the avant-garde
Japanese designer who reshaped 1970s and 80s fashion with theatrical color and
pattern, including iconic stagewear for David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust era.
Mock crewneck silhouette with dropped shoulders and ribbed neck, cuffs and hem,
with the original "yamamoto kansai" interior signature label.

Condition Details: The wool knit is structurally clean with no holes, moth
damage or unravelling, and the mohair-like halo remains soft and intact with
only minimal pilling. The rainbow stripes stay fully saturated, all decorative
red braided cords are present and intact across the front and back, and the rib
trims at the neck, cuffs and hem retain good elasticity. The mannequin in the
