Silver-tone snap hardware accentuates the edge of the monogram canvas, whose surface
is woven with the house’s repeating Anagram—four interlocking Ls—against a black and
deep brown background. The front features a brushed metal Loewe plate, set flush into a
dark brown leather accent. The corners show minor scuffing; light surface wear is
visible, though the structure and hardware retain a crisp finish.
The Anagram motif, designed in 1970 by Vicente Vela and rendered here in a compact
grid, places this wallet in the c. 2000–2010 period—an era when Stuart Vevers
was updating Loewe’s small leather goods with a sharper, more modern logo
presence. The serif “LOEWE” signature on the hardware is classic pre-Anderson, a
detail that places this piece just before the house’s major aesthetic shift.
Inside, dark brown leather lines the bifold, which features six card slots and a
zippered pocket. The original Loewe dust bag is included. When held, the wallet feels
compact yet substantial, embodying the craftsmanship of the Madrid atelier in every
detail.
