Vintage Loewe Flap Wallet Black Tan c. Late 2000s

A gold-tone clasp secures the front flap, set against smooth black leather edged
with tan suede-like panels—a compact Loewe wallet designed for precision and
contrast. The house’s Anagram logo is heat-stamped into the suede, while the
back features a blind-embossed “LOEWE” in crisp serif capitals. Inside, a brown
fabric lining conceals a single slip pocket, with a spare and unpretentious construction.
This design dates from Stuart Vevers’ tenure at Loewe—roughly the late 2000s to the early
2010s—when the Madrid-based house was finding new clarity in the tension between
heritage craftsmanship and modern restraint. The Vicente Vela Anagram, deeply embossed
into the surface here, is a detail from an era when Loewe’s leather was its
signature, not its silhouette.
Condition is excellent, with no visible wear to the leather, suede-like trim, or
hardware. The original dust bag is included.
