Vintage Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Bifold Wallet Brown

Gold-tone zipper teeth trace the edge of this Louis Vuitton bifold wallet, set
against the familiar Monogram canvas pattern, with each LV insignia crisply
aligned across the brown exterior. The silhouette is slim and well-structured,
designed to lie flat in the hand, with a leather pull tab marking the closure.
Louis Vuitton’s Monogram Canvas, introduced in 1896, remains the house’s
signature surface—here rendered in coated canvas finished with a dark brown
leather lining. This example showcases thoughtful construction: multiple internal
card slots and a full-length bill compartment, all revealed when
unzipped. The gold-tone hardware adds a subtle accent, and the original dust
bag is included.
Precise dating is not possible based on the available markings, but the item
reflects the house’s enduring design philosophy—functional, recognizable, and
built for everyday use. The interior leather shows some wear, particularly on the
lining, while the exterior canvas remains crisp and the structure intact.
