1 - HOW DOES IT WORK?

Joli Closet is an online marketplace specialising in pre-owned luxury items. It was launched in 2015.

Thousands of new products are listed every week!

All sold items are to be sent to us to go through our inhouse quality control process before being sent to the buyers. Quality control is responsible for verifying the authenticity as well as the conformity of all sold items.

This process ensures maximum peace of mind to buyers and sellers.

2 - HOW TO BUY?

Create your free account, add items to your shopping cart, checkout.

We accept Visa or Master card with 3DSecure option enabled and Paypal.

If you are having trouble using these payment methods we can also arrange payment by wire transfer, feel free to contact us.

3 - WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND?

Return conditions are specified on each item description. To put in short, returns are not possible for items sold by individual sellers. Returns are accepted within 14 days for items listed by professional sellers. Information about the type of seller is provided in each item's description. Please refer to the terms of service for full details.

4 - SPLIT PAYMENTS?

Payment in multiple installments is only available for French residents at the moment.

5 - HOW TO SELL?

You list the items yourself by using the online form, uploading your pictures and describing your item.

It takes between 2 to 5 minutes to list an item using our online form.

If you have a large volume of high end items to sell, we can also offer an inhouse consignment service which takes care of everything. Please use the contact form to get in touch with us.

6 - WHAT ARE THE FEES?

Listing an item is free, we take commission from sold items only.

For our regular online service the commission is 18% plus a fixed minimum fee of 8 euros for France, 15 euros for Europe excluding the United Kingdom, 30 euros for the rest of the world.

7 - HOW WILL I GET PAID?

We pay after having received and successfully carried out a quality control. Individual sellers are paid 7 days after a successful quality control, professional sellers are paid 15 days after the buyer receives the item. Payment is exclusively processed by wire transfer. For selling volumes greater than 1000 euros a year, individual sellers have to provide a valid proof of identity, professional sellers have to provide legal documents of their company.

8 - WHO PAYS FOR SHIPPING?

We pay shipping expenses from the seller to our office for items located in most European countries (excluding Sweden, Switzerland, Hungary, Norway). The buyers pay for the shipping from our office to their shipping address. Do not hesitate to contact us for exceptional shipping requests.

9 - IS IT AUTHENTIC?

Counterfeits are forbidden on the website. You can contact us if you spot an item that doesn't seem authentic. Every sold item is verified during our inhouse quality control.

10 - WHY IS THE PRICE SO LOW/HIGH?

Listed items are pre-owned, even though some may still have their price tags.

The price depends on demand, condition, supply, brand/designer, and how quickly the seller wishes to sell.

Our commission is one of the lowest on the pre-owned luxury market, the same items may be listed on our site at a lower price.

So take advantage of our low pricing!

11 - IS IT SECURE?

We treat the security of your data with the great care. The only available protocol on the website is HTTPS, you should see a secure lock icon on all of our pages.

The banking information and financial transactions are processed by our partners Adyen or Mangopay Crédit Mutuel Arkea who are accredited for online payment processing.

12 - DO YOU SHIP TO...?

We ship worldwide, the shipping cost is displayed during checkout.

Custom fees may apply and are the buyer's responsibility.

13 - SHIPPING DELAYS

The seller should confirm the sale within 48h of the purchase. We expect items to be shipped within 15 days of the order.

We track all orders daily and send regular reminders to our sellers.

Quality control is performed within 2 days of reception of the item in our office. After control the item will be sent and you will receive the tracking information

Average total delays are 8 days for an item located in France, 10 days for an item located in Europe. These delays may vary depending on the time your seller takes to send us the item.

14 - URGENT ORDER

Items listed on our website are stored with the sellers until they are sold.

If you need an item for a special occasion, we invite you to contact the seller using the comment section of the item to ensure that the seller will be abble to send the item in a timely manner.

Don't hesitate to use the express shipping option to shorten the shipping delays, your order will be processed in top priority and you will receive your item as fast as possible.
