Chloé Tess Bag

Designed in 2019 by creative director Natacha Ramsay-Levi, the Chloé Tess takes its name from her elder daughter and succeeded the Drew as the house's hero carryall. Its signature is the brushed-brass O-ring mounted on the front flap — a direct nod to the Chloé logotype and to saddlery hardware. Natacha Ramsay-Levi and the origin of the Tess

Introduced for Spring 2019, the Tess captured Ramsay-Levi's more structured turn at Chloé, balancing romantic heritage with a sharper line. The saddle-inspired shape can be carried by the braided top handle or worn cross-body with the longer removable strap. The magnetic flap, horseshoe cut-out and contrasting suede side panels became the model's visual codes overnight.

The standard Tess pairs shiny nappa calfskin with suede side gussets and a 68% linen / 32% cotton lining. Chloé offers it in Mini (~16 cm), Small (20 × 17 × 7 cm / 7.9" × 6.7" × 2.8"), Medium (~28 cm) and Large (26 × 22 × 8 cm / 10.2" × 8.7" × 3.1"), plus the softer Tess Day hobo and seasonal capsules in croc-embossed leather, raffia, patchwork velour and quilted calfskin. Retail for a solid-leather Small Tess starts at roughly $1,850, with embroidered or exotic versions climbing past $2,300.
