Our pre-owned Cartier bracelet selection gathers 258 authenticated pieces, weighted toward fine jewellery rather than fashion. The Love, designed by Aldo Cipullo in 1969, remains the unshakeable icon; it sits alongside the three-gold Trinity bangle (Louis Cartier, 1924), the Juste un Clou (revived in 2012), the Écrou and the Panthère line.

The Love bracelet: the screwdriver ritual

The Love's signature isn't visual — it's mechanical. Two micro-screws, positioned at opposite ends of the oval bangle, mean the bracelet can only be put on by a second person. Inside: the "Cartier" engraving, the 750 hallmark (18k yellow, rose or white gold), the size (16 to 21, with half-sizes since 2015) and a unique serial number. Our gemmologists verify screw alignment, the absence of burr and — when supplied — the signed screwdriver. A plain Love runs around €6,800 new at boutique; on the resale market, it settles between €4,500 and €6,500. Half-pavé and four-diamond references climb higher; full-pavé belongs to high jewellery (beyond €30,000).

The Trinity bangle interlaces three rolling bands — yellow gold for fidelity, rose gold for love, white gold for friendship — in a gentle mechanism that rotates on the wrist. The Juste un Clou curves a nail of gold around the wrist, with thin, wide and pavé variants. The Écrou, more recent, echoes the industrial vocabulary of the Juste un Clou. The Love runs from size 16 (slim wrist) to 21; a correct fit leaves roughly 2 cm of play. Scarce sizes (16, 21) push resale higher.
