Gianpaolo Pagni, artist of Italian origin likes to appropriate old documents, whose appearance and history he reinvents with a set of stamps. He had fun in this exercise with the Game of Omnibus and White Checkers. This watercolor holds a very special place in the history of the house.. Hanging on the wall in Emile Hermès' office, preserved today in the collection, she inspired, EN 1937, the first Hermès scarf. The origin of this entertainment ? The all new bus lines, appeared in the years 1820, and whose horse-drawn carriages surround the central medallion. The players were betting, then wooden balls out of a bag gave the winning number.
