Hermès Scarf Yellow
Sublime Hermes scarf called "Indian Fantasies" created by Loïc Dubigeon in 1985. 65% cashmere and 35% silk (this model) from 2015. Its endurance attests to its success.
Fringed 90 x 90 cm template.
The "Indian Fantasies" scarf is decorated with characters and animals from frescoes and murals in Shekharvati region in northern Rajasthan.
At the center of the scarf, there is a majestic tree of life whose branches form scrolls with lush flowers and exuberant, fanciful leaves. The tree of life symbolizes the process of creation, life that regenerates, the eternal rebirth of beings and things. It also embodies the cosmic axis uniting the underworld with its roots in heaven and its branches which organize the universe. The tree is very important in Buddhism: it is under the Bodhi tree in northern India that Buddha meditated and attained enlightenment or Nirvana. For Hindus, the roots are Brahma the God of creation, the trunk is Shiva, the destroyer but regenitative god and the branches represent Vishnu organinizer of the world.
A perfect unisex wonder for all seasons.
