"Les Becanes" is an Hermès Paris scarf designed by Hugo Grygkar, which pays homage to the Belle Époque, a period during which the bicycle became a popular means of transportation and a symbol of carefreeness. The first edition is from 1954, reprinted in 1973 (this one), 1990, and again in 2003.

It depicts a Parisian scene with families on tandems, policemen on bikes, men and women on Sunday outings in late 19th-century clothing. Green borders. 100% silk, hand-rolled hem.

With title, 'HERMES Paris' written with a copyright symbol. The Hermès scarf is in fair condition with some signs of use such as small pulled threads and fading.
