The Céline Boogie is one of the maison's cult models from the early-2000s pivot. Launched under Michael Kors as creative director and carried through the mid-2010s, it reads through its soft body, top zip, short leather handles and metal medallion engraved with the interlocked-CC logo. Our catalogue holds 97 authenticated pre-owned Céline Boogie bags, treated as archive pieces and pulled back into demand by the Y2K revival.

The Boogie: an archive silhouette

The Boogie was produced in several signature materials: grained calf in black, brown or beige, Macadam canvas with leather trim (the logo print that pre-dated the Triomphe revival), smooth calf in seasonal drops, more rarely suede and exotics. Its soft half-moon shape, with a widened base and handles that drop into the body, made it a favourite for usable volume in a medium format. The horizontal top zip, sometimes doubled by a thin closure strap, completes the design.

Buying a pre-owned Céline Boogie: price and scarcity

The Boogie is now a secondary-market-only model. Prices generally sit between €200 and €700 depending on material, leather condition and the rarity of the colour combination. Macadam-canvas pieces with the repeated logo, lifted by the Y2K wave, sometimes pass €800 in mint condition. Coloured smooth-calf and suede examples are rarer and well-priced on the archive segment.

Every Boogie is checked before going live: interlocked-CC medallion in gold or silver metal (sharp engraving, screws on the back), CÉLINE Paris-Made in Italy signature with the acute accent (the Boogie pre-dates the 2018 rebrand — absence of the accent is a red flag), interior date code, saddle-stitch quality on the handles and base.
