The Loewe Flamenco takes its name from the Andalusian dance — and the reference is structural, not decorative. Its drawstring pouch silhouette, cinched at the top by two braided leather tassels, picks up the saquitos that flamenco dancers tied at the waist, translated by the Madrid house (founded in 1846) into a structured-soft daytime bag. Drawn up inside Loewe's workshops in 1975, it was pulled back to the centre of the catalogue from 2013 by Jonathan Anderson, whose eleven-year creative directorship made the Flamenco one of three contemporary pillars of the maison's leather goods. The house produces the Flamenco in five main sizes: Mini (a compact crossbody), Small and Purse (the most versatile mid-format), Clutch (handheld, no strap), and Large for everyday carry. Leathers and colours

The Flamenco's signature is its hand-tanned soft nappa: an ultra-supple lambskin that drapes distinctively, marks lightly with use and develops a patina the resale market values. Alongside, you'll find editions in firmer grained calf, suede and python-embossed leather. Founding shades dominate the pre-owned offer — black, sand, tan — ahead of brick reds, olive greens, navy blues and seasonal capsules introduced under Anderson.
