Unveiled by Kim Jones at Fendi's Spring/Summer 2023 show, the Fendi Fendigraphy bag reinterprets the soft hobo silhouette the Roman house has favoured since the Baguette. Its signature is a single sculptural gesture: a cast-metal buckle engraved with an Art-Deco FF monogram, mounted on an unstructured leather body that drapes naturally on the shoulder. Three sizes have been produced — Nano, Small and Medium — joined by a Wallet on Chain and a phone pouch. Our pre-owned Fendigraphy selection currently holds ten authenticated pieces.

Sizes and variants

The Nano (roughly 15 × 10 × 5 cm) works as a playful mini crossbody. The Small (~29 × 24 × 10 cm) is the most-searched size — a daytime shoulder bag that still passes for evening. The Medium takes an A5 notebook and becomes a proper everyday carry. Hardware rotates between polished gold, ruthenium silver and tonal finishes depending on the season. The internal reference to look for is 8BR798 — it appears on the back of the authenticity card.

Materials and colours

Fendi has pushed the Fendigraphy through every material in its arsenal: smooth calfskin, pebbled calf, velvet calf, the FF Jacquard canvas in tan and brown resurrected from the 1990s archives, curly shearling, houndstooth capsules and the Fendace pieces born from the Versace collaboration. Black, beige and chocolate dominate the resale market; pastel pink, mint, sun-yellow and denim drops are the ones collectors chase first.

Retail price and resale value

At boutique, the Small retails for around €3,500 and the Medium for €4,100. On JoliCloset, pre-owned Fendigraphy bags start at about €600 for a well-loved Nano and climb above €2,500 for an unworn Medium — 30 to 50% below retail. FF Jacquard editions and Fendace pieces hold value particularly well, since both have become hard to source new.
