Moncler Pre-Owned — Authentic Down Jackets & Outerwear

Moncler was founded in 1952 in Monestier-de-Clermont, a French Alpine village, and made its name equipping the 1954 Italian expedition on K2. Seven decades later, the rooster-logo puffer sits in the wardrobe of every serious collector, from Courchevel to Aspen. Remo Ruffini has run the house since 2003 and repositioned it as contemporary luxury, headquartered in Milan. Our pre-owned Moncler edit carries 1,355 authenticated pieces, €40 to €52,545, averaging around €982.

The core categories

Outerwear is the heart of the catalog — women's clothing (748 pieces) and men's clothing (399 pieces) carry most of the weight. The Maya short puffer in glossy laqué nylon is the signature silhouette. The Bady and Flamme are the slim variants, Cluny and Hermine cover knee-length coats. On the ski side, the Grenoble line delivers waterproof shells, pants and bibs built for actual slope use. Round out with Moncler women's shoes (70 pairs) and Moncler women's bags (42 pieces).

Why buy Moncler pre-owned

A new Maya retails €1,450–€2,000, a Bady €1,100–€1,400, Genius pieces €1,700–€4,000+ depending on the designer. On the secondary market, Moncler typically depreciates 40–55% on recent pieces in good condition. Rare Genius drops (Rick Owens, 1017 ALYX 9SM, Pharrell) hold value and can trade above retail on specific references. Stock opens at €40 on entry-level vests.

The Genius collabs to track

Since 2018, the Genius project has turned Moncler into a designer platform: Rick Owens, JW Anderson, Palm Angels, Craig Green, 1017 ALYX 9SM, Hyke, Pharrell Williams, Tremaine Emory, Dingyun Zhang. These drops often sell out instantly at retail and form the collector tier on the resale market. Grenoble pieces carrying the rooster logo of the brand's Alpine origins also gain value over time.

Authentication guaranteed

Every piece goes through our team: sewn-in inner label with unique lot number, separately serialised tag with QR code (standard post-2016) for official Moncler verification, MONCLER-stamped zippers, feather composition label (80% down / 20% feather standard), rooster patch embroidery density, and nylon hand-feel. Fakes replicate the logo but fail on fabric sound, baffle symmetry and stitch quality.
