The Celine men's line in its current form only dates from 2018, when Hedi Slimane took over artistic direction and launched a full menswear universe under the CELINE Homme banner — the same moment the maison dropped the accent and became CELINE without the é. The men's leather offer is built around the Triomphe monogram, originally drawn by Céline Vipiana in 1971 to decorate the chains of the rue Vivienne boutique, shelved during the Phoebe Philo era, and revived by Hedi as the core signature. How to authenticate a Celine men's bag

"CELINE Paris — Made in Italy" heat-stamp on post-2018 pieces (no accent, in caps), and "Céline Paris — Made in Italy" with accent on the rare pre-Hedi men's pieces. Alphanumeric serial embossed on an interior leather tab (A-XX-XXXX format or equivalent). On Triomphe canvas: tight, regular jacquard weave, perfectly aligned interlocking-C motifs, no fuzziness at seams. Polished-edge gold hardware, Lampo/Riri zippers with a "Celine" engraved pull. Post-2020 cardholders often carry a discreet RFID chip sewn into the lining.
