Pre-Owned Chanel Men's Clothing | JoliCloset

Chanel has never run a true men's ready-to-wear line. For over a century, the house on 31 rue Cambon has released men's pieces only in drips and drops: the 2019 Pharrell Williams capsule (the first collaboration of its kind in Chanel's 110-year history), the Coco Neige collections conceived as a gender-neutral mountain wardrobe, and the Métiers d'art shows where Karl Lagerfeld slipped in a handful of androgynous menswear looks. The consequence on the resale market is simple: every Chanel men's piece that surfaces second-hand behaves like a collector's item.

JoliCloset currently offers 15 pre-owned Chanel men's clothing pieces, authenticated, priced from €180 up to more than €3,300. The core of the selection revolves around cashmere sweaters stamped with the CC monogram, alongside blazers and jackets, coats and outerwear, shirts, pants and tees.

A menswear wardrobe built in fragments: Pharrell, Coco Neige, Métiers d'art

The 2019 Chanel × Pharrell Williams capsule remains the defining moment for the masculine side of the house. Hoodies embroidered with N°5, graphic tees signed in Pharrell's own handwriting, rainbow sweatshirts: it was the first time Chanel openly labelled a collection as menswear-friendly. Pieces from the Pharrell tees and hooded knits sit among the most hunted items on the pre-owned market today.

The Coco Neige collections, built for the Alpine wardrobe, extend this unisex logic: Norwegian-inspired jacquard sweaters, quilted puffers, and tweed mountain jackets discreetly logoed with the double C. Designed without gender in mind, they transition easily from a man's wardrobe to a woman's. The Métiers d'art runway shows — Paris-Byzance, Paris-Edimbourg, Paris-Dallas — bring the couture dimension: bouclé jackets with signed buttons, long coats with Italian-leaning cuts.

Materials, fits and what to check before buying

Cashmere is the dominant knit: heavy gauges for winter pullovers, roll-necks, and breton stripes reworked in fine cashmere. Tweed is the couture signature, seen on short jackets and seasonal blousons. The Pharrell capsule denim has a dad-jean cut — high waist, straight-to-tapered leg. The t-shirts are a dense couture jersey, heavier than a standard luxury basic.

Authentication markers to look for: Chanel care label with a seven-digit serial code, signed CC buttons on couture jackets, saddle-stitched finishing along the main seams, silk lining on tailored pieces. The Timeless model and the Cambon line account for a share of the current stock.

Buying Chanel menswear pre-owned: prices and scarcity

Because there is no permanent Chanel men's line, the new-boutique channel is effectively closed for men looking to buy Chanel. Second-hand is the only realistic route. On JoliCloset, entry points start at €180 for a tee or a simple capsule piece, sit around €600-€1,200 for a cashmere sweater, and climb above €3,000 for a tweed jacket or a couture coat. With only 15 pieces in stock across the whole category, each acquisition stays genuinely exclusive.

Selling your Chanel menswear on JoliCloset

If you own a Pharrell × Chanel hoodie, a Coco Neige tweed jacket, or a Métiers d'art blouson, the market is structurally undersupplied: demand outpaces supply on nearly every model. List your piece, our experts authenticate it, and it goes live to a qualified audience of buyers across Europe and beyond.
