Hermès Runway Jacket White Beige Cream Silk Wool

Absolutely gorgeous Hermes by Jean-Paul Gaultier wool gabardine jacket / blazer which is a part of Fashions History. Look 9 / 53 from the famous Spring 2011 Gaultier's last Hermès Collection, which ended the Paris shows.
With a wink at his first collection for Hermès, shown back in 2004 in a cavalry training ground, Gaultier revamped the well-tailored jackets and haute horsey gear—including harnesses—of his debut.
Off-white wool gabardine jacket with tone-on-tone stitching, notched collar on single breast, one chest pocket, two horizontal pockets, long sleeves. Beautiful off-white/ cream colour (it is not really ecru or white as mentioned in the details!). It is very nice, it looks different depending on the light.
I consider the jacket to be in good to very good pre-owned condition for the light-coloured items, although there are nuances noticeable on closer inspection, as the jacket has never been dry-cleaned: some light water marks/ darkening stains visible under certain lighting. Please see pictures. The lining is generally clean and tidy, the silk looks beautiful, there are some loose threads, slight seams widening, nothing significant, all visible in the detailed pictures. The jacket still looks beautiful, it has rarely been worn. Gaultier is a master tailor, and here he has maximised his talent to create an austere yet sensual glamour.
