Used Louis Vuitton Eva Pochette | JoliCloset
The Louis Vuitton Eva pochette launched in the late 2000s and quickly became one of the maison's smallest crossbody bags. A near-rectangular shape (19 × 11 × 4 cm), top zip closure, gold-tone chain for shoulder wear and a leather strap for crossbody — the Eva pairs the pochette codes with those of a mini crossbody. Our catalog gathers a curated selection of pre-owned Eva pochettes authenticated by our experts, in Monogram and Damier canvas.
Single size, dual carry
The Eva comes in one size (19 × 11 × 4 cm) — ideal in the contemporary micro-bag context. It ships with two carry options: a gold-tone chain for evening outings and a long leather strap for daily crossbody wear. The compact interior fits a phone, cards and small change.
Monogram canvas, Damier Ebène and Damier Azur
The Eva has been produced in Monogram canvas, Damier Ebène and Damier Azur. On Monogram pieces, the vachetta cowhide trim and strap develop a honey patina — typical and expected. On Damier Ebène, the cocoa leather trim resists daily wear better. On the lighter Damier Azur, check corners and vachetta trim carefully (prone to darkening). Pre-owned, also check the zip, chain condition and lining.
Pre-owned pricing
The Eva is no longer produced. At retail it sat around $1,300. Pre-owned, expect from roughly $500 for a Monogram Eva in good condition and $750 - $1,050 for lightly worn pieces in Damier Azur or Damier Ebène. The rarity of the mini format and the contemporary return of micro-bags have supported pricing in recent years.
Authentication and alternatives
Every Eva pochette is inspected: date code, canvas, vachetta or cocoa leather, chain, zip, lining. If you are looking at other mini chain bags and pochettes from the maison, our Félicie, WOC, Pochette Métis and Clutch bags pages cover close alternatives. Selling an Eva is straightforward — Damier Azur versions and pieces with the original chain clear quickly.
