Botines Saint Laurent

Iconic models

The Wyatt (Slimane, 2013) is the signature boot: ankle-high shaft, side elastic, 4-5 cm Cuban heel, leather sole. The Niki picks up the western code with a higher Cuban heel (6.5 cm) and pointed toe. The Jane plays the high-stiletto card (10 cm) in patinated leather. Seasonal editions include fringed, laced or embossed-python boots.

Sizes and fit

Saint Laurent uses the Italian 35-42 grid. Pointed-toe models (Niki, Jane) run slightly narrow — go half a size up if you have a wider foot. The Wyatt fits true. Shaft height (about 12-13 cm) covers the ankle but stays below the calf — perfect skinny-jean silhouette.

Leathers and finishes

Smooth black calf is the safe choice — easy to maintain, easy to resell. Suede (taupe, brown, black) needs a waterproofing routine but delivers high-desire looks. Exotic skins in python or embossed croco appear in seasonal editions and hold their value. Vintage-effect leather, deliberately distressed, stays faithful to the Slimane design.

Pre-owned pricing and sole condition

A new Wyatt retails at $1,000 in boutique; secondhand it lands between $300 and $550. The Niki retails at $1,150 new and trades between $350 and $620. Check the sole: Saint Laurent uses leather soles with logo lining; a fresh leather resole done by a cobbler is acceptable, an industrial rubber resole weighs on price.
