canvas featuring the Celine “C” and equestrian monogram, complemented by black
leather trim, reinforced corners, and an adjustable leather shoulder strap.
Founded in 1945, Celine became especially known in the 1960s and 1970s for its
refined yet sporty equestrian-inspired designs, often incorporating horse and
carriage motifs that reflected Parisian elegance and craftsmanship. The bag is
finished with gold-tone steel hardware and opens to a gold canvas interior
lining. Made in France. Likely from the 1970s.
