Pre-owned Loewe Authenticated — Bags, Ready-to-Wear, Accessories | JoliCloset

Founded in Madrid in 1846 as a leather workshop and a holder of the Spanish royal warrant, Loewe joined LVMH in 1996 and grew into one of the most distinctive houses in luxury under Jonathan Anderson's eleven-year creative direction (2013-2025). The JoliCloset women's vault holds 4,369 authenticated Loewe pieces — bags, ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories — starting at €60 and reaching past €20,000 for rare collector editions.

Loewe bags — the icons

Loewe bags alone account for 3,448 pieces. The Puzzle (235 listings), drawn up by Anderson in 2014 around a six-panel origami construction that folds flat for travel, remains the house bestseller. The Hammock (255), launched 2018, plays on a draped multi-way silhouette. The Amazona (217), introduced in 1975 and revived by Anderson, keeps its doctor-bag DNA. The Flamenco (102), a drawstring bucket inspired by Andalusian dancers' saquitos, and the Gate (145) complete the top five. Raffia season also drives strong demand, with searches for "loewe basket bag" and the woven Paula's Ibiza line.

Beyond bags — ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories

The wardrobe extends well beyond leather. We carry 239 ready-to-wear pieces (sculpted tops, signature knits, dresses), 81 pairs of shoes including the Toy mule with its sculptural heel and the Anagram ballet flat, plus 218 accessories and 164 jewellery items built around the four-L Anagram logo Vicente Vela designed in 1970. Men's bags add another 120 references.

Pre-owned prices vs. boutique

A medium Puzzle currently retails around €2,900 in boutique; pre-owned prices on JoliCloset run materially below depending on year, leather (classic Spanish calf, nappa, suede) and patina. The medium Hammock starts at €2,750 retail, the medium Flamenco at €2,400, the Goya at €3,200. Loewe runs a high-end pricing policy and the authenticated resale market remains the most rational entry point into the house.

Authentication — Loewe markers

Every piece passes our in-house expert team before listing. Checks cover the Anagram logo (the four interlocking L's must align cleanly), the Spanish calf grain, hand-saddle stitching, the heat-stamped "Loewe Made in Spain" mark, internal serial code and the finishing on eyelets and metal hardware. On the Puzzle we verify the crisp panel angles; on the Flamenco, the drawstring tension and knot work.
