Dior Travel Bag Pre-Owned – Authenticated | JoliCloset

A Dior travel bag is a border category — couture enough to stamp CD on every metal part, technical enough to survive the tarmac. Historically the segment spoke to the men's client, but Kim Jones opened it up: Saddle Duffle, Dior Explorer, Dior Roller and Dior 8 now carry across. The models to know

The Saddle Duffle carries the Saddle curve into a weekender volume, with top handles and a removable strap. The Dior Explorer, launched in 2019, is a hybrid messenger-duffle with a flat zipped top — popular with the business client. The Dior Roller is a sling duffle with a large central zip, often in Oblique or CD Diamond canvas. The Dior 8 extends the line into a unisex backpack-travel format with laptop sleeve.

Canvases, leathers and motifs

Two canvases dominate: Oblique, a cotton-polyester jacquard covering most duffles, and CD Diamond, introduced in 2021 on the men's line — a diamond pattern borrowed from 1950s Christian Dior trunk covers. Grained black calfskin rounds out the business versions. Authentication runs through the "Christian Dior Made in Italy" heat-stamp, the interior date code (letters plus digits until March 2021, RFID chip after), Lampo/Riri zippers, the base metal feet and the regularity of the motif at the seams.

Retail vs pre-owned

New, a Dior duffle runs €2,500–5,500 depending on model and material, with aluminium Rimowa collaborations and exotic pieces climbing above €7,000.
