Authentication: where we look

Our experts inspect the "Jimmy Choo London" insole stamp, the serial number, the "Made in Italy" and "Vero Cuoio" marks under the arch, strap anchor points — the usual weak spot on sandals — and the signed "JC" buckles. On satin styles, color uniformity and nap consistency are checked; on crystal pairs, each Swarovski cone is tested for prong security.
