Dior Belt Pre-Owned – Authenticated | JoliCloset

A Dior belt concentrates the house logo on a single buckle — nothing else. It's the piece that says "Dior" from across a room, on an open shirt or at the cinched waist of a dress, without pulling out the bag. Since Maria Grazia Chiuri took over, the CD Icon (minimalist gold plate) has sat alongside the Saddle Belt (saddle-shaped buckle) and the Oblique webbing models. The buckles to know

The CD Icon is the most sought-after buckle — two brass letters on a rectangular plate, mounted on smooth black or ivory calfskin, 30-35mm wide. The Saddle Belt takes the saddle shape and turns it into a worked buckle. The Oblique belts render the signature jacquard as a narrower strap (20-25mm), ideal on a cinched dress. The 30 Montaigne adds a flat rectangular buckle that echoes the clasp of the namesake bag.

Materials and authentication

Smooth plain calfskin leads, followed by grained calfskin and Oblique jacquard canvas. The "Christian Dior" heat-stamp inside the strap is always present, accompanied by a numeric reference code. The CD buckle carries real weight — solid palladium or brass, never hollow — and shows a sober engraving on the reverse. Holes are perfectly aligned, edges waxed consistently: two details that separate authentic belts from the common replicas.

Retail and pre-owned pricing

New, a Dior belt runs €550–850 depending on width and buckle.
