Hermès BRIDES de GALA BRODÉ Multiple colors
Superb square Hermès titled "Brides Gala Embroidered"
From a drawing by Hugo Grygkar from 1957, still metamorphosed. Here by Leila Menchari in 2015.
Gala Brides, arguably the most famous square of the house, has never ceased to enchant us. His subject ? Equestrian course. The aesthetics of flamboyant bridles, the perfection of the composition, make it the image of the timeless spirit of Hermes. His name, brief and precise, has the splendor of ceremonial dress. It evokes the rattling of the buckles rhythmically by the majestic step of the horses. Leïla Menchari reinvents this classic by delivering it to the hands of her master embroiderers. The drawing, clean and detailed, is sensual, velvety. Framed, he adorns one of Leila's unforgettable sets, then the office of Jean-Louis Dumas because she offers it to him as a souvenir.
Of course, I specify that there is no embroidery by hand on this square, but the design imitates the embroidery.
Mixed and versatile, it can be the subject of a superb gift. No composition label.
