A rigid body, a curved base cinched at the centre like an hourglass, a flat top handle and a polished BB metal logo at its core — an explicit tribute to the architectural volumes Cristóbal Balenciaga sculpted in the 1950s. Sizes and formats

The Hourglass is produced in seven sizes: Nano (charm-size, 12 cm), Mini (clutch or top-handle, 19 cm), XS (the most resold option, 23 cm with shoulder strap), Small (27 cm, versatile), Medium (31 cm), Large (39 cm) and Stretched (elongated, long shoulder strap). The XS and Small concentrate most of the second-hand demand.

Leathers and colours

The house produces the Hourglass in Shiny Box Calf — the most emblematic — as well as grained calf, suede, embossed crocodile, ostrich, plus capsule editions in denim, Swarovski crystal or camo.
