Hermès Women's Belt — H Buckle, Kelly | JoliCloset
The Hermès belt is built around a modular principle: a strap, an interchangeable buckle, two faces. Each face is tanned separately (often one smooth + one grained, or two colors) and the buckle unclips to enable combinations. Models to know
The Constance H buckle, launched in the 1970s, is the absolute signature: a solid H in palladium or gold-plated metal, with a reversible 24, 32 or 38 mm strap. The Kelly belt miniaturizes the Kelly clasp with its lock and padlock. The Médor, rarer, is studded like a dog collar. The range also covers quieter buckles (Quizz, Hapi, Idem) on Box, Epsom, Togo or Barenia straps.
Authentication
On the buckle, look for the Hermès Paris hallmark, mold regularity and edge finishing. On the leather, the blind stamp (year letter + atelier) sits on the back, and saddle stitches read like a metronome. The width (24, 32, 38 mm) must match the buckle model. To go further: all Hermès accessories.
