Pre-Owned Bottega Veneta Totes | JoliCloset

For a long time the Bottega Veneta tote had a single name: Cabat — Tomas Maier's 2001 signature, fully hand-woven, no lining, no rivets. Daniel Lee and then Matthieu Blazy opened the silhouette up: the trapezoidal Arco and the slouchier Hop. JoliCloset has 278 authenticated Bottega Veneta totes in stock, average €950.

Arco, Hop, Cabat — three readings of the tote

The Arco (85 pieces in stock) is the house's contemporary tote: trapezoidal profile, supple intrecciato, twin shoulder handles. Available in Small (35 cm) and Medium (43 cm), it fits a 13-inch laptop and stays structured without being rigid. The Hop, newer, plays the deconstructed card: looser weave, more collapse. Maier's original Cabat is the choice for buyers who want the pure no-logo piece, no quilting.

Leathers and wear signals

On a daily-carry tote, check the base, corners and handle attachments: that's where the weave goes first. A vintage Arco with even patina is more reliable than a new-looking piece with a strip already loose at the bottom. The maxi intrecciato Blazy introduced — wider strips — handles loads and daily friction better.

Resale pricing and authentication

Expect €350-€1,800 for a pre-owned Arco Small or Medium in solid condition, vs. €3,100-€4,600 boutique. The original Cabat trades higher as a collector item, up to €3,500 depending on size and vintage. Every tote is checked: weave regularity, handle attachment, interior label, production code. Shipping handling time and carrier vary by seller — check each listing before checkout.
